T&C Engineer #TE

CAF Israel is seeking a motivated T&C Engineer to join the Testing & Commissioning team of the Tel Aviv Purple Line project. This role focuses on tracking and reporting test execution, coordinating weekly testing plans, managing data, and supporting field teams and technical experts.

Location - Or Yehuda, Israel

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of testing progress and documentation

  • Maintaining up-to-date tracking files and test schedules

  • Coordinating weekly testing activities

  • Logging issues and maintaining traceability in the OIL (Open Issue List)

  • Following up on incident resolution

  • Identifying deviations between planned vs. actual performance

  • Supporting technical teams (COMMS, POWER, PSS, TPS) with testing coordination

  • Participating in weekly progress meetings

  • Occasional visits to the field for on-site support

Note: This role requires extensive work with data. Strong Excel skills are essential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • Up to 2 years of experience (entry-level engineers welcome)

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, scripts; VBA – a plus)

  • Fluent English – written and spoken

  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills

  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and proactive

  • Availability to travel if needed

  • Background in railway systems – an advantage
