PSS Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Outdoor Installation Supervisor to oversee subcontractor activities related to cable Laying along the light rail alignment. The ideal candidate will ensure all work is executed according to the highest quality and safety standards, with a particular focus on cable routing, site readiness, and on-site coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Cable Pulling Oversight

• Supervise and coordinate the subcontractor responsible for pulling cables between rectifier rooms, ensuring full compliance with design and installation plans.
• Verify the condition and alignment of manholes, pipes, and ducts, ensuring they are prepared and suitable for cable installation.
• Ensure the subcontractor fully understands the cable route and executes it with precision and efficiency.
• Confirm the cable lengths match the required runs, and that proper labeling, handling, and protections are in place.
• Proactively monitor field conditions and provide on-site solutions to prevent delays or quality issues.

Installation & Technical Supervision

• Oversee the installation of electrical infrastructure, including work related to rectifier rooms and HV/LV systems.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensuring all operatives and subcontractors clearly understand the work requirements.

Subcontractor & Site Management

• Ensure that subcontractors perform work to the highest quality with minimal rework and in compliance with safety and design standards.
• Maintain constant on-site presence during key works to monitor progress and ensure project timelines are met.
• Coordinate daily tasks and dependencies with the planning and engineering teams, ensuring smooth workflow and proactive scheduling.

Reporting, Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, material status, and progress updates.
• Ensure red-markup drawings are kept up to date based on field modifications and conditions.
• Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and project-specific compliance standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Electrical Engineering degree (mandatory)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical field supervision, preferably in infrastructure or railway projects
• Proven experience supervising electrical cable pulling and installation, ideally in railway, infrastructure, or utility-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure, including HV/LV systems and associated civil interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, cable schedules, and construction specifications.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of making decisions in the field.
• Strong coordination and communication skills for working with subcontractors, engineers, and planners.
