PSS Installation Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Rectifier Room and Electrical Equipment Installation:
- Oversee installation of rectifier rooms and electrical equipment (HV/LV).
- Experience in traction equipment is desirable.
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the project as per contract documents.
- Monitor site progress, communicate changes, and ensure the project adheres to timelines.
- Ensure on-site presence during key project works.
- Subcontractor Management:
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring work meets the required standards with minimal rework.
- Collaborate with the planning team to schedule works in line with the overall project program.
- Proactively plan future works to avoid delays and ensure smooth daily on-site operations.
- Stakeholder Liaison:
- Maintain close communication with client representatives to ensure their needs are met.
- Coordinate with IEC representatives to ensure timely completion of IEC-related works.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders, subsystems, partners, and EPC representatives to meet deadlines.
- Change and Variation Management:
- Identify contract variations that impact the project timeline, adjusting the program accordingly.
- Testing and Commissioning:
- Supervise the Testing & Commissioning team to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Produce accurate reports, records, and general project documentation.
- Ensure that red-markup drawings are prepared based on site conditions and approved modifications.
- Participate in audits as required.
- Quality, Safety, and Compliance:
- Ensure the highest standards in health & safety, quality, and client service.
- Complete all contracts safely, on time, within budget, and snag-free.
- Ensure timely delivery of all required information according to the project program.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring foremen and operatives understand the work requirements.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively share knowledge and experiences.
- Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and manage projects.
- Problem-Solving and Technical Expertise:
- Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems in Electrical Engineering and related fields.
- Expertise in project management related to electrical energy generation, transmission, distribution, and control.
- Standards and Practices Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of local and applicable standards, as well as best practices in high and low voltage works.
- Familiarity with traction equipment is desirable.
