Purpose of the job:
· Plan, coordinate, supervise and control the execution of installation work carried out by own personnel and subcontractors, including all the previous actions necessary to guarantee its correct development (availability of materials and equipment, tools, vehicles, personnel, etc.).
· Compile the installation instructions for the different equipment (Manuals, plans, diagrams, customer regulations, etc.) and prepare the installation verification record models (PPI).
· Guarantee the application of the instructions corresponding to the installation and assembly tasks of equipment in the field, verifying that the installation records (PPIs) are prepared in due form and on time by the installer.
· Store the PPI records in the project's documentation system and prepare the final installation report with the corresponding conclusions based on their content.
· Coordinate with the RTP the modifications to be made to the work during the installation phase that impact the design, plans and associated documentation.
Key responsibilities:
· To install Trackside Rail Signalling Systems electronic equipment.
· Troubleshoot electronic equipment to isolate problems and repairing them as needed, replacing devices or components when necessary.
· Test equipment connections and functionality to ensure proper installation.
· Commitment to the quality of work and delivery times.
Job Requirements:
· Leadership of the installation process.
· Proficient in the various subsystems and equipment included in rail signalling systems.
· Good knowledge about safety regulations.
· Working knowledge of railway signalling systems.
· Working knowledge about and experience from electric installation.
· Working knowledge and understanding of the Installation, Test and Commissioning process.
· To work full-time shifts.
Experience preferred:
· At least 5 years of experience (for Installation Manager) and 2 years (for Installation officers) in the railway sector working on or around railway tracks performing signalling installations in railway/tram.
· Good technical education and experience.
· English proficient (spoken and written skills).
Interpersonal & Communications Skills:
· Methodical and orderly person, willing to work and who wants to integrate into a long-term business project.
· Team player.
· Able to read and interpret drawings and circuit diagrams.
· Be able to work independently and make own decisions.
· Technically interested.
