Job Description: EPC Chief Engineering Design Manager - Light Rail Project
Location: Tel Aviv
Position Overview: He/she shall be responsible of the overall management, control, design, administration and supervision of all system engineering related works, services, tasks, activities, actions, design and construction
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary interface and link between the D&B Project Management Office/Project Director and the D&B Technical Office, including all technical staff.
- Interface with the Consortium D&B Technical Office and Consortium Management Office.
- Ensure coordination between various company scope managers during all project stages.
- Oversee the execution of the company's scope of work by the design and construction teams, ensuring adherence to time and budget constraints as per general management instructions.
- Monitor the status of design and construction activities according to the programmed schedule, providing guidance to relevant managers.
- Ensure the works are performed at a satisfactory technical level and check the implementation of general project requirements and standards.
- Coordinate technical documents, information, and activities among the design, construction, and verification stages.
- Maintain and update the master deliverable list with the status of the submissions of the LRT project packages.
- Ensure the integration of engineering transversal activities within the company scope (interfaces, requirements, EMC, and Migration).
- Communicate relevant information between Technical Teams and the Management Board/Project Director.
- Compile all necessary information to complete Monthly Progress Reports.
- Lead the closing of different project phases (Design, Construction, Testing & Commissioning) for reception by the consortium/client.
Requirements:
- At least fifteen (15) years' working experience in system engineering and at least ten (10) years' working experience in system engineering in transportation projects.
- Diploma in Engineering.
- Proven work experience as a Technical Director/Manager of railway infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills will be an asset.
- Experience delivering projects using Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Project Management qualifications are valuable for consideration.
