We are currently seeking an autonomous and ambitious Financial Manager. Based in Sydney, to lead end to end financial scope in a project’s basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the company's economic and financial performance and implement corrective measures if necessary.
- Manage monthly payments, including payroll, and reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash transactions.
- Report operating indicators and monitor financial plans for shareholders.
- Manage quarterly distributions to shareholders and assist as secretary at Board of Directors meetings.
- Monitor compliance with bonds, guarantees, insurance policies and regulations.
- Control the company's profitability using financial models.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets and activity statements.
- Contribute to the company's strategy and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, as well as internal policies.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and sustainable manner, promoting improvements in quality and environmental performance.
Required profile
- A thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures supported by CA or CPA qualifications.
- Must have strong communication skills both oral and written.
- High level of organizational and analytical skills.
- Integrity and ethics and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly with Microsoft Excel.
- Proven experience with Finance software’s, such as SAP or BAAN (Finance Modules)
- Ability to meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high performance work environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Corporate finance & Reporting
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
- From five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive accounting experience in a medium size International entity.
- Big 4 experience preferred from 2 to 4 years, desirable.
- Corporate & State Taxes exposure for a minimum period of 2 years.
