Mission of the position

The SQA-PM is the representative of the SQA area within the Project/Program.Its main role is to ensure, together with the corresponding QSA-BBMs, that the quality of the program’s EFAEs complies with CAF’s overall Quality standards, as well as with the specific customer and program quality requirements.Together with the corresponding QSA-BBMs, plans the FAIs and PTs required in the Program, which are incorporated into the Program Inspection and Test Plan.Attends the FAIs and PTs required in the Program when necessary and organizes the customer’s attendance at EFAE tests and inspections, with the support of the corresponding QSA-BBMs when required.Acts as the customer’s point of contact within the Program for all matters related to the quality of the corresponding EFAE, with the support of the QSA-BBM when necessary.Monitors and ensures the closure of FAI OILs and PTOs, coordinating the activities of the rest of the Program team members to this end.Additionally, during the Program and when circumstances require, manages control activities at supplier facilities. Also establishes and clarifies quality criteria when a lack of definition causes difficulties in production.Collects and compiles the documentation derived from the tests and inspections performed on the EFAEs during the Program phase.With an aggregated view of the EFAE situation across Programs, participates in or leads, as appropriate, the EFAE forums of the Programs to which they have been assigned, and reports on the EFAE status, with the support of the corresponding QSA-BBMs when applicable.Is responsible for reporting the progress of activities related to FAIs and PTs of the Program EFAEs to the Quality Program Manager (QPM), so that the QPM can inform the Core team about the status, potential deviations from the Program Plan, and actions to be taken.Complies with the responsibilities assigned in general processes and in the systems implemented in CAF and in the business area in which the role is performed, in matters related to Quality, Product Safety, Occupational Risk Prevention, and Environmental Management, in accordance with the role performed at any given time.
