Mission of the position

At CAF DDS, we are looking for talented individuals to join our Ecodesign team in Jaén, Linares, and Granada, within our Rail Vehicle Business!

JOB MISSION:

Their primary role is to ensure, together with the relevant QSA-BBMs, that the quality of the EFAEs (Engineered Equipment) in the program meets CAF's overall quality standards and those of the client/program in particular.

They plan, together with the relevant QSA-BBMs, the necessary FAIs (Failure Assessments) and PTs (Process Testing) in the program, which are added to the program's Inspection and Testing Plan.

They attend the necessary FAIs and PTs in the program when required and organize EFAE testing and inspections with the client, with the support of the relevant QSA-BBMs when necessary.

They are the client's point of contact in the program for all aspects related to the quality of the corresponding EFAE, with the support of the QSA-BBM when necessary.

Furthermore, during the program and when circumstances require, they manage control activities at the supplier's facilities. They also establish and clarify quality criteria when their lack of definition causes production difficulties.

It also compiles the documentation derived from the tests and trials performed on the EFAEs during the Program phase.

It is responsible for reporting the progress of activities related to the FAIs and PT of the EFAEs in the program to the Quality Program Manager (QPM) so that they can inform the Core team about the status, any deviations from the Program Plan, and the actions to be taken.

Training required

University degree equivalent to a Master's degree (EQF Level 7) in the relevant field or a Bachelor's degree (EQF Level 6) and at least two years of equivalent experience.

Internal or external qualifications may be required depending on the role within the organization (see system requirements and qualifications register).
