What will your role be in the company
Process all goods inwards and outwards (electronically and physically)
Liaise with CAF customer and other CAF personnel with materials transactions, queries, stock inspections and audits as required.
Manage and process repairable materials and shipping documentation
Expedite all open orders with suppliers
Coordination of logistics with suppliers and local depot
Maintain material logs, system update and documentation, providing quality and accurate information
Manage periodical stocktaking of materials
Produce relevant and accurate reports and KPI’s requested by the company
Monitor the stock levels, and the system information to ensure that all data is accurate, including periodical comparison with the customer’s systems.
Be able to support the Operations Manager, local depot, Procurement department and Stores and Logistics Department with materials planning, control and any other project activities
Place orders on the system to pre-approved suppliers to complete the purchasing administrative process for NCRs and logistics.
Participate in team/client meetings as required
What salary will you be paid for this role
As a Real Living Wage Employer, we are proud to pay competitively at CAF. For this role you will be offered a salary in the region between £30,000 and £32,000 per annum.
What will make you successful in this position
Proven relevant experience in a similar role (warehousing operations, maintaining materials inventory)
Proven relevant experience using a ERP System and strong computer skills.
Be able to co-ordinate and organize logistics with key suppliers
Flexibility and ability to work under own initiative
