Mechanical Disassembly Team Leader

Location: Egypt,Cairo - Kozzika.

Mission of the position
To lead and supervise all train disassembly operations from the reception of inspected units until the delivery of dismantled components to the next production areas. This role ensures process efficiency, quality compliance, accurate documentation, and proper coordination with relevant departments.
Functions and responsibilities
Work on the Prototype Train (Spain):

Participate in the uncoupling and dismantling of the first train.

Create a detailed list and coding system for all dismantled parts, including hardware.

Identify parts to be replaced systematically or by condition.

Coordinate with Engineering to provide accurate part specifications for material lists.

Review and improve instruction and control sheets prepared by Industrialization.

Define tools, consumables, and storage methods for dismantled parts.
Work on the Series in Kozzika:

Supervise dismantling team and ensure all tasks follow defined sequences, including:

Washing, uncoupling, and bogie delivery.
-
Disassembly of BB equipment, underframe elements, and electrical wiring.

Movement of units to and from dismantling and welding areas.
-
Positioning bodies on diploris and using coordinated jacks.

Delivery of components (doors, seats, panels, etc.) to relevant areas (painting, warehouse, etc.).

Ensure proper identification, storage, and preparation of elements to be reassembled.

Follow project planning to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
-
Ensure real-time use of control cards and checklists.
-
Define and request necessary resources: manpower, tools, shifts, and consumables.

Ensure compliance with production time, cost, and quality targets.
-
Oversee decontamination process when required, applying correct procedures and safety rules.
-
Coordinate NCR (Non-Conformity Reports) and ensure cleanliness and safety rules are followed.

Manage work reports and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
Education required
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Required professional experience
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial manufacturing as a production or shift manager.

Preferred experience in train maintenance or modernisation.
Competencies
Technical and/or practical knowledge valued

Strong knowledge of disassembly processes and mechanical components.

Familiarity with tools, jacks, and lifting systems.

Ability to read and understand technical documentation and instruction sheets.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Good command of English (B2 level or higher).

Willingness to travel to Spain for training and prototype dismantling activities.
