Functions and responsibilities
- Execute the sales strategy in line with the company’s business objectives
- Proactively acquire new customers and sales opportunities within the bus market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with public transport authorities, municipalities, and private operators
- Lead public tenders and large fleet sales projects
- Define winning commercial strategies for bids and tenders
- Lead commercial negotiations and finalize contracts
- Take responsibility for profitability, margins, and sales risk management
- Achieve sales targets (volume, revenue, margin)
- Work closely with Technical Sales, Bidding Office, and Product Marketing teams
- Ensure smooth handover of projects to execution and delivery teams
Our Expectations
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales
- Experience in the bus, commercial vehicle, automotive, or heavy machinery industry
- Proven experience in public tenders and contract negotiations
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Good understanding of technical products and mobility solutions
- Strong business acumen and financial understanding (pricing, margins)
- German – fluent; English – minimum B2 level
- Ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment
