Functions and responsibilities

 

  • Execute the sales strategy in line with the company’s business objectives
  • Proactively acquire new customers and sales opportunities within the bus market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with public transport authorities, municipalities, and private operators
  • Lead public tenders and large fleet sales projects
  • Define winning commercial strategies for bids and tenders
  • Lead commercial negotiations and finalize contracts
  • Take responsibility for profitability, margins, and sales risk management
  • Achieve sales targets (volume, revenue, margin)
  • Work closely with Technical Sales, Bidding Office, and Product Marketing teams
  • Ensure smooth handover of projects to execution and delivery teams

Our Expectations

 

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales
  • Experience in the bus, commercial vehicle, automotive, or heavy machinery industry
  • Proven experience in public tenders and contract negotiations
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good understanding of technical products and mobility solutions
  • Strong business acumen and financial understanding (pricing, margins)
  • German – fluent; English – minimum B2 level
  • Ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment
