Warranty Manager TLV

For our brand-new international team in Tel Aviv, we are looking for a Warranty Manager with experience in the Rolling Stock industry. In this position you are responsible to manage a team of Engineers and Technicians who ensure the delivery of daily production workload.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Rolling Stock maintenance techniques and have strong organizational and leadership skills.

 

Main tasks & responsibilities
• Reports to the Area Project Manager.
• Is responsible for ensuring that the requirements of the Tram maintenance agreement are achieved.
• Lead and direct the depot organization to achieve production & budgetary targets.
• Responsibility of the development, implementation and review of the Tram Maintainer’s Safety Management System.
• Review of overall performance of the team, implementation and monitoring of continuous improvements.
• Management of staff recruitment, training and competency management system.
• Management of occupational and operational safety issues and liaison with CAF Health & Safety Engineer.
• Monitor and produce monthly reports on the performance of fleet, maintenance, suppliers and materials.
• Manage the depot warranty process in order to maximize the full potential of warranty guarantees.
• Provide general engineering support / problem solving for technical and procurement departments.
• Process development and management to ensure the depot is compliant with safety, quality and environmental management systems.
• Main contact with client organization for contact, performance and safety issues.

The Candidate

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Has at least 3 years of experience in after-sales support, industrial maintenance, or a similar technical environment. Experience in the railway industry is an advantage; however, candidates from industrial, maritime, or aviation sectors are also encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, with a solid understanding of complex machinery.
  • Possesses a good understanding of maintenance processes and has experience in warranty management or warranty-related activities.
  • Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively while working under pressure.
  • Has a proactive mindset, enjoys learning new technologies, and is motivated by troubleshooting and solving technical challenges.
  • Has excellent communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
