Technical Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Engineer to support the Technical Director and the Installation, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), and System Engineering Managers in coordinating the technical activities of CAF Group’s railway subsystems.
This role plays a key part in managing technical documentation, supporting field activities, and ensuring proper coordination between the different technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Technical Director in preparing and managing commissioning documentation.

Provide documentation support to the Installation Manager and installation coordinators during installation works.

Support the T&C Manager and T&C coordinators with technical documentation during installation and testing phases.

Coordinate CAF Group technical teams in the preparation and consolidation of project documentation, including:

Technical solutions for Field Design Changes.

Installation validation checklists.
-
Hand-over registers and punch lists.
-
Manuals, training materials, and pending design documents.

Perform on-site measurements as required by the Technical Office.

Maintain dashboards and extract project KPIs.

Prepare and integrate monthly reports based on input from the different subsystems.

Keep the Master Deliverable List updated, tracking submission status of LRT project packages.
Requirements

Engineering Diploma (or equivalent).

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in railway projects (an advantage).

Full professional proficiency in Hebrew and English; Spanish is an advantage.

Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel) and MS Project.

Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple technical teams.
