CAF Israel are looking for an OCS Supervisor to support and monitor the Project Manager (PM) and Construction Manager (CM) in managing on-site activities related to CAF’s Overhead Line Equipment (OHLE) scope. 

The role includes overseeing inputs, interfaces, required permits, safety, quality, cost control, and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Quality Department to review and verify QC forms and checklists before and after inspections.

  • Supervise works outside CAF’s scope that impact OHLE, including track conditions, poles, and multitubular infrastructure.

  • Prepare reports in coordination with the PM and CM.

  • Review partner handover checklists and validate readiness to start OHLE works.

  • Conduct quality inspections of delivered OHLE materials and ensure overall compliance with specifications.

  • Identify technical risks, changes, and variation orders, and collaborate with the PM and CM to address them.

  • Monitor OHLE subcontractor performance and resources on a daily basis, and maintain regular communication with the design team.

  • Support testing and commissioning procedures and assist in OHLE handover to the client/O&M.

Required Personal Skills:

  • Strong teamwork skills with an organized and structured approach.

  • Ability to learn a highly specialized field while working closely with a technical team.

  • Good communication skills.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of overhead lines (preferably railway, ideally in urban environments).

  • Familiarity with regulations and mechanical calculations.

  • Proficiency in Office tools (Excel, Word, PDF).

  • English at B2 level.

  • Willingness to work night shifts and occasional travel.

  • Ability to open and extract information from AutoCAD files.
