Junior Technical Engineer – Full-time | Or Yehuda

CAF Israel is looking for a Junior Technical Engineer to join our team in Or Yehuda and take part in one of the leading light rail projects in Israel. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or junior engineers eager to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.

CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) is a global leader in railway solutions, with projects in over 40 countries. 

What you’ll do:

• Support the Technical Director with various on-site technical activities, including reporting.

• Assist the Installation Coordination team with subsystem handovers and managing technical documentation.

• Follow up on “Site Bulletins” (design changes and clarifications) and ensure proper implementation.

• Help coordinate technical interfaces between E&M systems (Power, OCS, Signaling, Telecom, etc.).

• Take part in the preparation and tracking of “As Built” documentation.

What we’re looking for:

• Education: B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a similar field.

• Experience: Prior experience in transportation or infrastructure is an advantage, but not required.

• Skills:

  • Strong technical understanding and a genuine interest in railway systems.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the team.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • High proficiency in English (spoken and written).

The role:
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Or Yehuda. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and project teams across various disciplines, gaining practical experience and making a real impact from day one.
