What will be your role in the company?
The role of Stock Analyst will support to keep the stock and usage of the stock accurate in the system, also assisting to the Stores and Logistics department and projects with inventories, stock control and material/services forecasting accuracy.
Your daily duties will include:
- Monitor and check stock levels, consumptions and material and services spent for all the projects at CAF UK.
- Assist line manager coordinating with Central Stores, Depots & Procurement departments to correctly define forecasting & reorder levels for material and services, following CAF SA stock policies, guidelines & standards.
- Ensure logistics costs and transport suppliers performance are monitored providing regular reports and data relating to specific areas of the logistics process
- Organise, coordinate and complete when required stock takes in any location of CAF UK.
- Produce relevant and accurate reports and KPI’s requested by Head of Stores and Logistics.
- Enter data into the CAF system for Stores and Logistics department as required
- Ensure that Central Stores achieve and keep the HSQE Standards required for the business.
- Ensure compliance with all HSQE requirements. Participate in audits when required.
- Participate in teams meetings when required.
- Place orders on the system, if required, to pre-approved suppliers to complete the purchasing administrative process for Logistics. Organize, track and update the status of orders and shipments as required.
- Provide support as and when required about processes, systems or administrative tasks for Stores and Logistics department, or other departments if approved by line manager.
- On occasion carry out other activities to assist the business requirements.
What salary will you be paid for this role?
As a Real Living Wage Employer, we are proud to pay competitively at CAF. For this role you will be offered a salary in the region of £37,000 and £40,000 per annum.
What will make you successful in this position?
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- English language and Maths standard grade 3 or above (or equivalent).
- CIPS qualified or working towards is desirable
- Proven relevant experience in stock inventory, and stock management.
- Professional experience in an engineering-industrial environment (manufacturers and/or stores).
- Proven relevant experience using an ERP System and computer skills.
- Advance Excel User (Macro’s, Pivot Tables, Formulas)
