Job Purpose:

Assurance of the Maintenance Plan complied with through:

  • Elaboration of Mid-term and long-term projections of maintenance requirements.
  • Confirm all requirements for the mid- and long-term projections, such as but not limited to:
  • Manpower and competencies required
  • Materials required
  • Tools and facilities requirements
  • Follow up and definition of engineering works required (checklists elaborations, VMI´s, VOI´s…)
  • Material follow ups for mid and long term projections.
  • Engineering requirements follow up.
  • Follow ups on modifications status and implementation.
  • Elaboration of delivery plans for maintenance preventative inspections and modifications (taking into consideration materials availabilities, staff and works required through Gantt projections).
  • Delivery of monthly, quarterly and yearly summaries and reports on the fleets performance and major KPI´s.

Contract compliance Assurance considering (but not limited to):

  • Maintenance operations (inspections) Compliance for preventative and corrective tasks.
  • Trainsets and facilities cleaning and supplier´s follow ups and control.
  • Quality assurance of maintenance records registered and saved up to date.
  • Define with Supply Chain and Operations the definition of materials required for the different maintenance projections and requirements, for mid- and long-term inspections.
  • KPI´s definition and follow up through contractual requirements review with the different departments and with final client.
  • Definition of annual objectives, with the creation of the corresponding Action Plans with different areas (Operations, engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Safety…) and follow up for fleet improvements required and agreed with client.

Reporting periodically to the Operations Director and General Manager

Coordination with final client to clarify:

  • Maintenance projections and fleet capacities.
  • Performance indicators and monthly/ quarterly reviews (plus attendance and review with Operations director yearly reviews).
  • Negotiation with the client on the monthly availability closures of the fleet, with the penalties.
  • Coordination between client and different CAF departments.

Key Result Areas:

  • Education: Industrial Engineer or Higher
  • Professional Experience:
    • At least two years of experience in Planning process and Contract Management.
    •  Preferable experience in Supply Chain and operations in Railway sector or similar.
  • Languages Required: English. A positive value Arabic or other

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Engineering field, 5 years’ experience, experience in Project Planning, Pressure handling, Negotiation Skills, Team management etc.
