The IT Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining CAF IT system and need to incorporate an IT specialist in Cybersecurity in the Rail Services business to deploy and coordinate the necessary activities in the field of Cybersecurity specific to the IT area. to start an automation project with all departments


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations.
  • Manual deployment of software required for equipment control.
  • To automate CAF Arabia IT information and facilitate the reporting and optimizing the usage / analytics of the information.
  • Control our Maintenance management system (Users, PW …) and interact with CAF's Central IT department.
  • Constant monitoring of all equipment and contact with the user to deal with any alarms or non-conformities that may arise.
  • Occasional visits to workshops to check that all equipment has software installed and is compliant for possible audits.
  • Constant deployment of new software and policies decided by the Cybersecurity Committee through the control software.
  • Development and constant updating of the different cybersecurity regulations according to the experience gathered, aligning it with the changes that arise in the corporate area.
  • Support to all system users.
  • Must be able to work in an international environment. 
  • Able to interact with the different departments within CAF as well as with workshop staff, both to define processes and to ensure that they are carried out as specified.
  • Willingness to travel both internationally and nationally.

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 03 Years experience as an IT Officer or similar role, with a strong background in IT infrastructure management.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, cybersecurity principles, and IT best practices.
  • Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and desirable experience in the railway sector. Experience in audits will also be an asset.
  • Familiar with the latest software coding/programming tools.
  • Familiar with data Collection and Preprocessing
  • Hight expertise in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, outlook).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
