INTERFACE Engineer

CAF, a global leader in railway systems, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Interface Engineer to join our team on the Jerusalem Light Rail project.

Location: Jerusalem

What will you do?

• Lead and coordinate interface activities between different tramway systems and subsystems.

• Identify, define, and manage technical interfaces between various teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Ensure smooth integration between civil works, rolling stock, and other project components.

• Prepare and maintain interface documentation (ICDs) and ensure that all parties meet technical and project requirements.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams in Israel and Europe, as well as with clients and suppliers.

• Support and participate in inspections, testing activities, and review of plans to verify that interface requirements are properly implemented and documented.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related field).

• Relevant experience in infrastructure, transportation or railway projects – an advantage.

• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

• Good level of English (spoken and written).

• Ability to work on-site in Jerusalem and attend meetings with international teams.
