JOB MISSION


To ensure that the special processes applicable to railway rolling stock and its components are defined, validated, controlled, and executed in accordance with regulatory, contractual, and management system requirements, guaranteeing product conformity.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define, implement, and maintain special processes in accordance with applicable standards (ISO 9001, EN 15085, ISO 3834, AWS, etc.).

• Ensure the qualification and certification of:
Welding, painting, and bonding processes, etc.
Measuring equipment
Personnel involved in special processes.

• Develop and maintain quality control plans.

• Coordinate internal and external audits of special processes.

• Provide technical support to production, engineering, and quality.

• Participate in new developments, industrialization, and process changes.

• Control and monitor subcontractors of special processes.

 

QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Materials) or equivalent technical training.

• Certification as:
IWE / IWT / IWS (highly valued)
Welding Coordinator according to ISO 14731 EWF FROSIO/NACE

 

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years in a similar position (welding coordinator, quality manager, etc.).
