Overview

The successful candidate will provide warehouse facility wide inventory, material, and supplies support for all facility locations.  This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role uses standard office equipment such as: desktop computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.

Functional Description

  • Input transactions into ERP system of records such as: receipts, issues, transfers, shipments, inventory/location transfers
  • Prints out OMF, DRP and individual ticket orders for picking/pulling/staging of warehouse materials
  • Maintain and track OMF, DRP and ticket requests/deliveries with Excel spreadsheet, detailing information as defined.  Maintain Shelf Life file
  • Ensure all original pull, issue, transfer, return to stock slips have been matched, verified and filed
  • May prepare ERP system and customizes reports using available ERP programs on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis
  • May prepare and distributes various KPI daily, weekly and monthly reports of warehouse, inventory/material/logistics activity
  • Communicate with various Company personnel to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activities with Lead Coordinator, Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse office, including keeping office and aisles clear and free of debris.  Participate in 6-S activities as assigned
  • Participate in daily job briefings with team: reviewing safe warehouse work practices, 6-S, KPI’s, duties/tasks for the day, and any specific projects
  • Participate in annual inventory audit

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Modern warehousing procedures including, receiving, stocking, picking, issuing, returns and shipping
  • Manufacturing/assembly production practices and/or environment
  • Record-keeping techniques
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
  • OSHA, health and safety regulations
  • Participate in the warehouse operations and activities of the Department
  • Maintain accurate and timely warehouse records and files
  • Add, subtract, multiply and divide quickly and accurately
  • Plan and organize work to meet time constraints and deadlines
  • Compile, organize and analyze information
  • Analyze situations, identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Maintain inventory records and prepare documents
  • Establish, maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
  • Meet schedules and timelines
  • Use Microsoft Suite software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Training/Education Required

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and two years of experience in an inventory control - warehouse operations environment
  • Strong Excel and computer skills required

Safety Requirements

  • Shall report all injuries/illnesses to their supervisor that occur at work, the day of the incident
  • Shall report any unsafe conditions that are identified in their respective work area to their supervisor
  • Shall comply with all CAF USA safety policies, procedures, and requirements that are communicated to them, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures
  • Shall wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is communicated and supplied to them
  • Shall keep their respective work area clean and orderly at all times
  • Shall attend all CAF USA required training as soon as possible before the start of their assigned work
  • Shall NOT operate any CAF USA equipment (forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts) until certified to do so

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20.00/hr to $25.00/hr.
