OVERVIEW:
Employee performs highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work involved with electrical system. Electrical work may be performed in a number of areas of the car shell/train. Work involves technical application of electrical principles.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:
- Must have vast knowledge with electrical hand tools, crimpers, and crimping dies.
- Installs, repairs and services specialized electrical equipment on the train.
- Reads and understands wiring process books and control sheets.
- Wire routing, wire harness building, and terminate a wide range of connectors.
- May do other trades work incidental to electrical work.
- Capable of process improvement.
- Collaborate with management any issues that may arise with project.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
TRAINING/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school.
- Minimum 6 months experience as an Electrical assembler

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Two or more years of related experience.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20 to $23.
