Mission of the Position
To ensure the efficient reception, storage, preparation, and delivery of materials to the production line, following the instructions issued by the Logistics Manager and maintaining standards in safety, quality, and organization.
Functions and Responsibilities
Reception of Materials:

Receive the truck and guide it to the reception area.

Deliver documentation to the Logistics Manager.

Support WH Drivers with container unloading.

Deconsolidate shipments.
-
Verify package counts against delivery documents (CMR, consignment note, delivery note); stamp, sign, and date the documents.

Check packaging condition and report any incidents to the Warehouse Manager.

Store materials in designated warehouse locations (BL8, BL3, external) per instructions.
Material Management and Delivery to the Line:

Receive and collect materials according to the Preparation List.

Deliver materials to the production line in the indicated zones and using the appropriate methods (direct supply, trolleys, drawers, etc.).

Return unused or excess materials to the warehouse (if no forklift needed).

Detect and report shortages to the line.

Communicate any problems to the line manager.

Maintain pallet stackers and chargers, report any issues.
General:

Comply with CAF’s systems in workplace safety, quality, product safety, risk prevention, and environment.

Participate in physical inventory counts.

Ensure proper use of all physical tools and equipment needed for the job.

Always apply EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
Education Required
-
Intermediate Level Training Cycle or equivalent.
Required Professional Experience
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as a storekeeper.
- Preferably with experience in the rolling stock industry.
Technical and/or Practical Knowledge Valued

Basic user knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Willingness to be trained in forklift and pallet stacker use.
