Testing Technician

General Description

The Testing & Commissioning Electrical Technician is responsible for supporting the execution of 
electrical testing and commissioning activities on rolling stock systems. This role involves 
performing tests, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring all systems meet the required 
technical specifications and safety standards. 

Jop Description

 Execute assigned testing and commissioning activities as per the project 
schedule. 
 Support engineers in analysing test results and identifying issues. 
 Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. 
 Participate in system validation and verification activities. 
 Assist in preparing test reports and documentation. 
 Ensure proper use of testing instruments and calibration awareness. 
 Follow all Health & Safety procedures during testing and commissioning 
activities. 
 Report progress and issues to supervisors regularly
 Perform electrical testing activities (static & dynamic) according to approved procedures. 
 Assist in the preparation and execution of the on-site tests. 
 Carry out wiring checks, continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and functional tests. 
 Identify, report, and assist in troubleshooting electrical faults and failures
 Support the implementation of corrective actions in coordination with production 
and engineering teams. 
 Record and document test results accurately. 
 Ensure all tools, instruments, and equipment are used properly and safely. 
 Follow test plans, procedures, and safety instructions strictly. 
 Assist in the installation, energization, and commissioning of electrical train systems. 
 Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

Education

 Technical Diploma degree in electric or relevant field. 

Experience

 (1-3) years of experience in electrical testing, maintenance or commissioning of 
Railway industrial automotive or similar field preferred).
